New set of Wings for Hornet at Albert Park

New set of Wings for Hornet at Albert Park

Nissan Motorsport is set to unveil a new livery for the #36 Altima for the MSS Security V8 Supercars Challenge.

Tomorrow morning, Symantec – the makers of Norton, and sponsor of the Norton Hornets V8 Supercars team – will debut the new colours, in support of its partnership with charity beyondblue.

The trademark yellow Norton livery is being replaced with white, yellow, red and blue and will feature the distinctive beyondblue butterfly.

The Hon. Jeff Kennett AC, Chairman of beyondblue will unveil the livery in a newly designed beyondblue themed race suit.

Both Norton Hornet drivers Michael Caruso and James Moffat, as well as Symantec vice president and managing director, Pacific region Brenton Smith and senior director, Norton, Pacific region Matthew Drake will be in attendance.

The change marks a renewal of Symantec’s partnership with not-for-profit beyondblue, which last year saw a $300,000 cheque handover from the sales of Norton products.

Symantec is supporting beyondblue in reducing cyberbullying in Australia, which can lead to depression and anxiety.

Stay tuned to v8supercars.com.au tomorrow morning for the first glimpse of the new-look Nissan.
